Shimano Ultegra 4000 FC - the new Ultegra reel is proof of the long-term technical development of the popular mid-priced reel. It is now equipped with a range of the latest technologies that have so far only been seen on top price reels such as the Stella. The entire Ultegra range now offers significantly higher utility value. The combination of the Hagane transmission, the MicroModule II micromodular transmission, the X-Ship transmission mount and the Silent Drive technology further enhances the smooth running and offers an amazing fishing experience. X-Protect technology prevents water from entering the winch and moving parts, which results in significantly longer winch life and trouble-free operation. The long-stroke spool allows the line to be more easily released during casting, which results in longer casting distances and higher casting accuracy. The new body made of Ci4 + composite helped to reduce the weight of the reel, which will result in less fatigue of the fisherman, especially during longer catches.
